Customizing the Location/Equipment Tree

You can customize the order and appearance of the columns in the location/equipment tree view.  You can have any or all of the following columns:

  • Name
  • Status code
  • Barcode
  • Asset ID (shows for equipment only)

By default everything except the Asset ID is shown.  To configure the columns in the location/equipment tree:

  1. Right-click on the Name column in the tree's header:

  1. Then choose Show Column Chooser from the popup menu.
  2. Check the columns you want to show.
  3. Optionally, you can set the order in which the columns appear.  We highly recommend keeping the Name column first in the list.
