Activating Inspections
In order to activate an inspection, do one of the following:
- Right-click on the inspection you want to make active and choose Activate Inspection.
- In the Ribbon Bar, make sure you're in the Home page and click Activate Inspection in the Customers, Sites & Inspections section.
The active inspection is displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the main Aspect window. Once active, you will be able to enter inspection-related data such as temperature readings, problem documentation, and so on.

The active inspection is different from the selected inspection. When you select an inspection in the tree view, the detail information on the right side of the window shows that inspection's information. The active inspection is the one you're currently working on (entering data, running reports, etc.). It is not necessary to select the active inspection in the tree view to work with that inspection. |
