Activating Sites
In order to activate a site, do one of the following:
- Right-click on the site you want to make active and choose Activate Site.
- In the Ribbon Bar, make sure you're on the Home page and click Activate Site in the Customers, Sites & Inspections section.
The active site is displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the main Aspect window. Once active, all locations and equipment for the active site is displayed in the Locations & Equipment section of the main Aspect Window.

It is not necessary to have an active inspection in order to create locations and equipment. Locations and equipment are associated with a site, while inspection data such as temperature readings are associated with an inspection. |

The active site is different from the selected site. When you select a site in the tree view, the detail information on the right side of the window shows that site's information. The active site determines the contents of the locations & equipment tree view and the problem tree view. It is not necessary to select the active site in the tree view to determine the contents of these tree views--they will always show data from the active site. |
