Customer Detail
The customer detail area is where you provide information on this customer. Each customer database has exactly one customer object, and it is always the root node of the Customers, Sites, and Inspections tree view.

The customer vendor number appears on the Cover Page report. However, if this field is not provided it will be hidden on the report and therefore not noticeable to your customer. |

The customer's address is different from the site address. The site address will appear on reports where the customer address is only used for your records for things like a corporate mailing address. |
Customer Contacts
You can add customer contacts if you want, which can be handy for things like calling people to set up inspections, get in touch with accounts payable, etc. Note that sites also have contacts, so we recommend using customer contacts for corporate issues and site contacts for things like getting in touch with people to get into the inspection site, calling for an escort, etc.
