Settings
The Settings window, located on the Settings page of the Ribbon Bar, is where you set most of the configuration options in Aspect. The areas currently include:
- Defaults: this section includes default values when things are created in either the customer or global databases.
- Autosave settings of the database. See the topic on Saving the Database for more information.
- The default folder that new customer databases will be saved to.
- The folder that database backups will be saved to.
- The location of the global database. Note that this option can only be changed when a customer database is not open.
- The ability to reset a database's custom asset folder location for the currently open customer database to the default location. Note that this option will be missing if no customer database is open.
- The font weight (normal, bold, etc.) and color of the inspection status column of the item tree.
- Configuration settings for barcodes and a barcode reader. See the topic on using barcodes for more information.
- Different image editors that can be invoked for editing your images.
